It is most important that we have a trial day. It’s a perfect way to meet each other and chat about all the details for your day, including wedding theme, colours, bridesmaid’s looks and any other additions.

On your trial day, bring with you any hair and makeup references you have. We recommend when looking for inspiration to look at photos of the same/similar colour hair as this will make it easier for you to envision. For example; if you are a brunette but like a blonde braid, it may appear different once done as different colours can show different textures. It also helps us test something closer to what you’ll have on the day. This is also the opportunity to discuss any alterations or hair extensions to create the ideal look.

Please bring pictures of your dress if you have them. Your veil or hair accessories re also helpful to see. It is recommended you wear light colours for our trial to emulate the colour of your dress on the day. We will keep records of all the products used and make notes about your hairstyle.

As your big day draws closer, it’s time to start considering what needs to be done so that you have the perfect hair for your big day.

You’ll want your hair looking as healthy as possible. Treatments are key to achieving this! You should look to restore moisture and shine and should be getting your hair cut every 7/8 weeks to keep those tidy ends in place as you approach your wedding.

If you colour your hair it is best to do this one week prior to the day – not a few days before. This means that it will give your hair the time it needs to settle after the treatment. You can also chat to us about your colour as we have extensive experience with hair colour work.
